WAITLIST PRIVACY NOTICE
A small form, with a deliberately small data footprint.
Last updated 31 July 2026. This notice covers the ReleaseCrate market-validation waitlist. It is not a product account or a public software download.
The waitlist accepts text answers only. Do not send audio, artwork, lyrics, videos, project files, passwords or payment information.
What is collected
The form stores your email address, creator role, release frequency, current workflow, release-production pain points, Windows availability, price response, asynchronous testing interest, delivery preferences, optional comments, the source campaign, submission time and the consent wording version.
Why it is collected
The information is used to decide whether there is enough genuine demand to resume work on a paid Windows beta, to review repeated workflow pain, and—only when you consent—to send validation or beta-invitation email. There are no client calls, meeting bookings or automatic product accounts.
Storage, access and retention
Answers are stored in the private database attached to this website, hosted through OpenAI Sites infrastructure on Cloudflare. Response access is restricted to the ReleaseCrate product owner. The data is not sold and is not published as a response spreadsheet.
A response is kept for up to 12 months after the last interaction, then deleted unless a shorter legal or operational need applies. Anonymous aggregate counts and unattributed summaries may be retained for product decisions.
Email choices and deletion
You can unsubscribe, request deletion, or ask what is stored. An unsubscribe request immediately marks a matching waitlist record as unsubscribed. Access and deletion requests are queued for verification using the same email address so another person cannot erase your response without a check.
Changes
If the validation process materially changes, this notice will be updated before new data is collected. Joining this waitlist does not purchase software or guarantee beta access.
